Grigorios G. Champsas, MD, MSc, PhD, is Academic Fellow in Plastic Surgery at Athens University School of Medicine, a Plastic Surgery researcher and clinician at the Andreas Syggros Hospital of Venereal and Dermatological Diseases, Athens, Greece, and also operates a private practice.
He currently serves on the Oncology and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery committees for the Hellenic Society of Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery (HESPRAS), where he is responsible for educational seminars, and is a member of the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) and 2nd Vice President at the Hellenic Society for the Study of Melanoma.
A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he subsequently also completed his doctoral degree, Dr Champsas specialized in Plastic Surgery at the General Hospital “KAT” in Athens, Greece. He specialized in Breast Reconstructive Surgery (MSc) at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Sant’ Andrea Hospital. He is an invited reviewer for international journals. He has received several awards, contributed several book chapters, and published numerous articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
